After two smash hits, the creators of the ‘Carry On Jatta’ franchise are back with the third installment. Carry on Jatta 3 is the latest installment in the now-iconic franchise, and it stars Punjabi superstars Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa and Binnu Dhillon in prominent roles.
The film’s makers have released a new trailer, and this three-minute-long clip makes it quite clear that we will be treated to yet another comedy film from beginning to end. The trailer first introduces us to the film’s hero, Jass (Gippy Grewal), who meets and falls madly in love with a gorgeous girl (Sonam Bajwa). He informs his father (Jaswinder Bhalla) that all he wants is to marry her.
His father, however, is at odds with his girlfriend’s father (Nassir Chinyoti), and as the trailer progresses, it is shown that Jess falls in love with another woman. And this woman is married (Kavita Kaushik) and has a child (Shinda Grewal). The trailer promises a complete laugh riot and will build on the success and humour of its predecessors, which have amassed a big fan base among Punjabi film fans.
Surprisingly, the trailer was released in Aamir Khan’s presence. The footage of Aamir shaking legs and doing Bhangra has gone viral on social media.
Carry on Jatta 3 is directed by Smeep Kang and written by Naresh Kathooria, Shreya Srivastava, and Vaibhav Suman. The film, which is set to be released on 29th June, is produced by Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal under the name of Humble Motion Pictures.
